Stephen Hersh at Green Home Solutions Takes the Plunge

Ossining local Stephen Hersh with Green Home Solutions will be taking the Escape from Sing Sing Plunge this year.  Stephen is helping to raise funds for Westchester residents in need.  He will join scores of participants by venturing into the frigid waters of the Hudson River at 10am on February 8, 2025! Each plunge participant pays a registration fee of $75. Each team registration is $300 for up to 5 people. For those participants who attract sponsorships or donations in excess of $200, they’ll get to memorialize their plunge with a long sleeve event shirt. For raising $500, participants will receive a customized hoodie.

Not to be outdone, we have sponsorship targets for contributors and local businesses:

1- $100 Friends of Gullotta House; company logo on flyers, Facebook & Instagram shout out
2- $250 Bronze Sponsor: logo or team name  on signs,  flyers, Facebook & Instagram shout out
3- $500 Silver Sponsor: provides 50 hot community meals at a future event, and all gold perks .
4- $1,000 Gold Sponsor: provides 100 hot community meals at a future event. Company logo on souvenir long sleeve shirt. All flyers, signage and Facebook advertising.

The Swan’s House Takes the Headless Horseman Plunge

The Swan’s House team & friends will be taking part in the Headless Horseman Plunge at Kingsland Point Park in Sleepy Hollow this February in order to help raise money for families facing hardships in our community. Come join us to take the plunge in to the icy waters of the Hudson River or just cheer on the crazy team at 1:00pm on February 8, 2025! Support us by donating to this great cause by clicking above. Gullotta House Needs a Home

We are currently collecting donations to achieve our goal of raising $350K towards having a 5 family home in Westchester County to help families displaced from their home by a fire or flood.

Let’s Help Francisco After a Devastating Fire

Last week our beloved bus driver, Francisco H., lost his home in a house fire. The entire building was destroyed along with all of the family’s belongings. Thankfully, everyone made it out of the home safely but the family is devastated. Francisco, his wife, mother in law and three daughters are currently living with friends and family while they work to recover and find a permanent home.
At this time, the best way to help the family is through monetary donations from the community. Gulotta House has generously offered to help us with this campaign and all donations can be made through their website. 100% of donations will go directly to Francisco’s family.  Francisco, like all bus drivers, takes care of our most precious cargo every day and now we have a chance to help take care of him and his family.

2023 Hudson River Plunge Results

On February 18th, 2023 Gullotta House organized its 6th Annual Fundraiser diving into the Hudson River. Supporters of both plunge locations – Sleepy Hollow and Ossining – made a fun day into another milestone for Gullotta House. Community members, friends, organizations, businesses, and TEAMWORK resulted in our most successful event to date. We thank you all. 

Ossining narrowly edged Sleepy Hollow in the fundraising tally. As a result, Ossining was awarded a Recreation scholarship of $500. Congratulations Ossining.

Distribution of Funds

**All funds were distributed from January 1st, 2023, to March 1st, 2023**

After expenses for supplies, advertising, and marketing, Gullotta House gave back $40,953. The balance of $3,190 as of March 1, 2023, will be directed to Westchester County residents facing hardships.

Sari Raises Money for Families in Need

My name is Sari Linett and I am a junior at Briarcliff High School.  I have been volunteering with the Gullotta House for the past 3 years. I combined my love of cooking with my desire to help others by shopping for, preparing, and delivering meals for families in need. Gullotta House helps out so much locally, so I’m trying to raise money to help even more families in need. I would appreciate any donations, thank you!
