The Mindful Waters team will be taking the Headless Horseman Plunge. The proceeds we raise will benefit Gullotta House’s efforts to assist community members in need. Mindful Waters is a water store and spa with a mission to provide accessible restorative healing practices in a welcoming tranquil environment.  Our services include cold therapy, breathwork, infrared saunas, float therapy breathwork and Yoga, all of which have been shown to help improve sleep, and reduce stress and anxiety. Our wellness center is located in Northvale,  New Jersey servicing the New York Metro community and is here to support your health.

Our team will join scores of participants by venturing into the frigid waters of the Hudson River at 1:30pm on February 7, 2026. Dr David Aguirre from Montefiore Einstein Pediatrics will be taking the Escape from Sing Sing Plunge  to benefit families facing hardships. This year he will be taking the plunge in remembrance of his father Carlos O Aguirre who passed in February of 2025.  Dr Aguirre will join scores of participants by venturing into the frigid waters of the Hudson River at 10am on February 7, 2026. The Gullotta House Headless Horseman Plunge will once again be held at Kingsland Point Park, 299 Palmer Avenue in Sleepy Hollow on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at 1:30 p.m.

Over the past four years, “The Red Team” has raised $65,000, with 100% going to the families of fallen TKE brothers.

2022: $2,700 raised for brother Cory Woodford’s family, plus a computer for his daughter.

2023: We raised over $10,000 for the family of brother Eddie T. Person.

2024: We raised $51,700 for the family of brother Anthony “Eggplant” Farsetta, who passed away shortly after the plunge last year.

2025: We raised donations for a memorial bench for brother Mike Kraft.  In the future we will raise donations for a  “memory plaque” honoring all brothers who have passed away. TKE has been around since 1986 and every year we get one year older. Death is a part of life, and this is a way we can keep the memory of Cortland TKE alive, with a bench listing all the brothers who have passed away since the fraternity’s founding.

2026; We will raise funds for Gullotta House to support its mission of helping families  facing hardships.

Every brother who donates is welcome to plunge at Sleepy Hollow with the rest of the Red Team.

Dozens of brothers and family members have taken part over the past few years and we are hoping for a great turnout again this year.

Fit Inn is located in Tarrytown. We specialize in personal training and small group classes. We love strength training, community, and teaching folks how to be the best version of themselves. We apparently also love jumping in very cold water for a good cause!
