Erik Balogh, a husband and father who grew up in Tarrytown, NY suffered a major heart event that required quadruple bypass surgery. Erik’s strict training schedule masked the symptoms until the disease moved to critical levels. The surgery was a success but will require months of rehab that will cripple the family financially. We are hosting a fundraiser to help with the medical expenses.

Please come out to Maya Riviera on 12/29/25. Your ticket includes authentic mexican appetizers and a fun music venue. TC Entertainment will host a Karaoke Gong show to raise funds for the family. There will be a cash bar, 50/50 raffle, and a silent auction.

During this season of thanks, Gullotta House is thankful for the community we are a part of and that helps sustain us.

We ask that on this global day of giving, you remember Gullotta House and our mission to help residents of Westchester County in need of assistance by making a donation.

With your help we have achieved a lot. Unfortunately it’s not enough. The landscape has changed – mental illness, food insecurity, and inflation are all on the rise.

Gullotta House is asking for you to go above and beyond this holiday season. Together we can make a local difference.

A little over a week ago we were grateful to our donors and to St. Ann’s hosting our annual Thanksgiving Dinner. Our December events include free community meals and our annual holiday gift distributions in Sleepy Hollow and Ossining. 

As we look ahead to 2026 and beyond, we would like to draw attention to acquiring a multifamily home to house families in need.

The 2025 Sleepy Hollow and Tarrytown St Patrick’s Day Parade will take place on Sunday March 16, 2025. The parade committee has chosen to dedicate this year’s parade to Gullotta House in recognition of  our commitment and generosity to the community.

We will begin with 10am  mass at  Church of the Transfiguration followed by a reception in the Church Hall. The parade formation will be on Main Streeet at the intersection of North Washington and South Washington St. Step off will be promptly at 1:30pm.

Each plunge participant pays a registration fee of $75. Each team registration is $300 for up to 5 people. For those participants who attract sponsorships or donations in excess of $200, they’ll get to memorialize their plunge with a long sleeve event shirt. For raising $500, participants will receive a customized hoodie.
