Motion PT Takes the Plunge

Founded in 2015, MOTION PT began as a collaboration of physical therapy leaders across New York City with a shared belief: together, we could deliver better, more personalized care. What started as nine NYC clinics has grown into more than 60 locations across New York, Connecticut, Maryland, and Massachusetts.
Our mission remains the same to help people move better, feel better, and live better. Whether it’s returning to sport, staying active with family, or simply moving without pain, our team is driven by getting patients back to what matters most.
Today, MOTION is home to 200+ physical, occupational, and certified hand therapists united by four core values: compassion, integrity, teamwork, and empowerment. With diverse specialties and shared standards of excellence, we care for patients of all ages and abilities from athletes to active seniors.
As we grow, we continue to think small creating welcoming clinic communities where every patient feels supported, heard, and at home

Team Motion PT will be taking the plunge to raise money in our continuing efforts to help families facing hardships in our community.

Team Polar Bear will be taking the Headless Horseman Plunge into the freezing waters of the Hudson River at 1:30pm on February 7, 2026! Support us by donating to this great cause by clicking above.  You can also show your support in person by cheering us on. Join us at Kingsland Point Park, 299 Palmer Ave,  Sleepy Hollow on Saturday February 7th, 2026.

Each plunge participant pays a registration fee of $75. Each team registration is $300 for up to 5 people. For those participants who attract sponsorships or donations in excess of $200, they’ll get to memorialize their plunge with a long sleeve event shirt. For raising $500, participants will receive a customized hoodie.

Not to be outdone, we have sponsorship targets for contributors and local businesses:

1- $100 Friends of Gullotta House; company logo on flyers, Facebook & Instagram shout out
2- $250 Bronze Sponsor: logo or team name  on signs,  flyers, Facebook & Instagram shout out
3- $500 Silver Sponsor: provides 25 hot community meals at a future event, and all gold perks .
4- $1,000 Gold Sponsor: provides 50 hot community meals at a future event. Company logo on souvenir long sleeve shirt. All flyers, signage and Facebook advertising.
5- $1,500 Event Sponsor: at one location of Sleepy Hollow or Ossining. Company logo on shirts, logo and website will be in our ad in River Journal, flyers, signage and Facebook advertising
6- $5,000 Community Sponsor: Includes all of the above and logo on press release and banner.
